The McCormick Ranch Golf Club offers two spectacular resort golf courses that are open to the public. The Palm Golf Course features ten water holes and, as its name suggests, showcases many large palm trees.

My partner and I showed up at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ for our 7am tee time and what a beautiful day it was. The temperature was a balmy 75 degrees and there was still dew on the grass which made the course look even more inviting. We played the Palms Course where water comes into play on seven holes on the front side. The fairways are very forgiving but do require some accuracy because there are strategic placed bunkers throughout. The 2nd nine is a little more forgiving but still requires well-placed shots to the greens. Being able to be among the first out is definitely a plus if for nothing more than to enjoy the surroundings of this great course. From the blues the Palm plays to a 73.7/137 and is a comfortable 7044 yards.
