We-Ko-Pa Saguaro

The new Saguaro course at the We-ko-pa Golf Club is unlike any of the desert-style golf courses to be found in Arizona or elsewhere in the southwest. Unlike most of the resort courses in Arizona, the Saguaro course offers golfers the option to walk, and was, in fact, designed with that purpose in mind. Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw designed this course with the older, more traditional walking courses in mind. The greens are closer to the tees and the course follows the natural movement of the land, making it a unique playing opportunity. Opened on December 16, 2006, Saguaro was ranked as the #1 public access course in Arizona by Golfweek, and GOLF magazine named it one of the “Top 10 Best New Courses You Can Play” in the United States in 2007.
