Spring Has Sprung Time for Golf in Arizona

It’s been a great golf season in the Scottsdale - Phoenix area.  If you haven’t been here yet to experience the awesome golf courses and need some enticement to do so, then read on.

With temperatures beginning to creep, the golf courses in Arizona begin their shoulder season rates.  What does this mean?  This means the deals on these fabulous golf courses just got better!  Every year about the middle of April, the second tier rates for golf courses and accommodations are lowered to encourage more golfers to travel.  The golf courses are still in peak condition pretty much through the end of May or early June.  The accommodations are still great ranging from the secluded Four Seasons at Troon North to Hotel Scottsdale in the heart of the action.

Though spring training is over, the Diamondbacks are still playing downtown and the Suns are looking at a good playoff run.  There are plenty of other options for night-time activities to suit almost everyone.

For the next ten days it looks to be in the mid 80’s and will work its way into the 90’s pretty quickly.  It’s a good way to thaw out and clean up if mud has replaced the snow and ice where you live or work.
